THE free Dicom-Workstation

With the K-PACS Workstation a powerful free DICOM-viewer is made available for you, that provides tools for manipulating, measuring and converting DICOM-images into several formats. Additionally, the software implements the most important DICOM service classes like store, query/retrieve, send and move. Thus you can query picture archives comfortably, download pictures, upload foreign pictures to archives and export pictures on CD, on local harddrive or even via email.

The dicom net services were implemented using the Charrua DICOM toolkit by Rafael Sanguinetti. Some modules make use of the DCMTK toolkit  by the Kuratorium OFFIS of the University of Oldenburg. The viewer is premised on the outstanding ezDICOMax ActiveX plugin by Dr. Chris Rorden. You can find links to all mentioned websites and institutions here.
